As seasoned entrepreneurs, we understand the time commitment
needed to build early stage companies. Young companies are always
striving to balance staffing and cash constraints with product
development and customer concerns. Accordingly, we work hard
to be active, hands-on investors at both strategic and tactical
levels. However, we are not looking to operate businesses and
we fully expect entrepreneurs to be responsible, accountable
and empowered to run the companies that we finance. |
Nevertheless, many our companies find it extremely helpful
to draw on our past experience in building organizations,
recruiting executives, designing and implementing sales and
marketing programs, and managing the financial health of companies.
Therefore, to maximize the level of service that we can provide
to our portfolio companies, we limit the responsibilities
of each partner to no more than six active companies at any
given time.
